About University of Gothenburg - Erasmus Mundus EMHRPP Scholarship
The EMHRPP Scholarship 2027 is a fully funded Erasmus Mundus master’s program in Human Rights Policy and Practice for international students. This two-year joint degree takes place at four leading European universities in Sweden, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Norway. It integrates academic coursework with an internship and human rights practice. The program is organized by a consortium of European universities including the University of Gothenburg, and funded by the European Union under the Erasmus Mundus initiative. It aims to equip human rights practitioners with advanced knowledge and skills for careers in civil society, policy-making, and advocacy. Graduates earn a single master’s degree and benefit from exposure to multiple legal systems and cultures.

University of Gothenburg - Erasmus Mundus EMHRPP Scholarship Requirements
- A first degree equivalent to 180 credits or 180 ECTS from an internationally recognized university or college
- A minimum of two years’ practitioner experience in human rights (includes regular employment, internships, voluntary work)
- Minimum English language qualification of English B/English 6 at upper secondary level or equivalent internationally recognized test (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS)
