About University of Gothenburg Scholarship
The Axel Adler Scholarship 2027 offers outstanding international students the chance to study Bachelor’s or Master’s programs at the University of Gothenburg with a full tuition fee waiver. Funded by the Adlerbertska Scholarship Foundation, Adlerbertska Grant Foundation, and the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR), this prestigious award recognizes academic excellence and strong motivation for studies.

University of Gothenburg Scholarship Requirements
All applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a fee-paying international student outside the EU/EEA.
- Must apply for a campus-based program at the University of Gothenburg as a
- Must apply for studies by 15 January 2026 and document eligibility by 2 February 2026 via se.
- Must receive an email invitation to apply for the scholarship between 10 and 28 February 2026.
- Only students admitted to full-time programs are eligible.
- Online-only programs are not eligible (programs with temporary online components are allowed).
- To retain the scholarship, students must complete at least 75% of semester credits.
Application Date and Process
- Apply for a full-time international program at the University of Gothenburg via the link below before deadline.
- Pay the application fee and submit all eligibility documents by 1 February 2027.
- Wait for the email invitation to apply for the Axel Adler Scholarship around 10 February 2027.
- Submit your CV and Motivation Letter in the scholarship system before 28 February 2027.
- Results will be announced via email in April 2027.
