About University of Minho Architecture Fellowship Scholarship
The Minho Architecture Fellowship provides architecture graduates with a six-month research opportunity at the University of Minho’s Lab2PT laboratory, funded by the T.E.R.R.A-E project in Portugal. The fellowship includes a monthly stipend of €1,090.98 and is open to international applicants.
The University of Minho, located in Braga and Guimarães, is a renowned Portuguese public higher education institution. Its Landscapes, Heritage and Territory Laboratory (Lab2PT) conducts interdisciplinary research on territorial dynamics, heritage, and community development. - Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at the time of application.
- Meet the enrolment conditions applicable to this type of research fellowship.
- Provide valid proof of enrolment before signing the fellowship contract.
- Comply with Portuguese qualification-recognition and grade-conversion requirements if degree is from outside Portugal.
- Ability to undertake the research activities required by the T.E.R.R.A-E project.
- Relevant research, professional, fieldwork, territorial-analysis, or architectural experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrate communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency with relevant manual and digital research tools.
- Experience or skills in fieldwork, territorial representation, and spatial analysis.
