Benefits of University of Otago - International Partnership Scholarship
- Value of $10,000 with a one-year tenure.
- Payment is made as a credit towards tuition fees only.
- For semester 2 (July) start, half ($5,000) released as tuition credit, the other half released in semester 1 (February) of the following year.
- Scholarship is awarded once; multiple offers may be received but only one scholarship awarded.
University of Otago - International Partnership Scholarship Requirements
- Applicants must have completed secondary (high) school or at another approved institution that grants University Entrance overseas (outside of New Zealand).
- Applicants must be intending to enrol or have enrolled in full-time degree-level, undergraduate study at the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka.
- Applicants must be intending to undertake a minimum of four semesters at the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka.
- Applicants must be studying on campus throughout the duration of their studies.
- Applicants must be applying to study at the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka through one of our approved articulation partner agreements.
Application Date and Process
- Every eligible applicant must agree in their application for study, through the student management system (eVision), that they would like to be considered for international scholarships at the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka.
