The SIX60 Scholarship offers students with a passion for music and performing arts a unique opportunity to live at 660 Castle Street, the iconic former home of the band SIX60, while receiving a rent rebate. Established in 2021 by the University of Otago and SIX60, this scholarship supports undergraduate students in music, performing arts, or related fields like commercial law and management who aim to enter the music industry.

University of Otago - SIX60 Scholarship Requirements
- Be studying or intending to study at the University of Otago in the second or third year of an undergraduate degree in music or performing arts
- Be studying related subjects such as commercial law (and management) with an interest in entering the music industry
- Have an existing track record in creating and recording music or in music production
- Have achieved academic progress in their area of study with a minimum level of B minus average for completed papers (4.0 GPA)
