The Department of Medicine Staff Scholarships promote staff professional development by helping pay for the cost of classes, conferences, meetings, and workshops that further one’s career and benefit the work of the department and division.
Benefits of University of Washington Staff Professional Sevelopment Scholarship Program
- The maximum award is $2,500
University of Washington Staff Professional Sevelopment Scholarship Program Requirements
- Applicants must be regular full- or part-time (at least 50% FTE) classified or professional staff in the Department of Medicine for a minimum of six months before the application deadline. Faculty, Postdoctoral Scholars, Fellows, and Staff on temporary/project appointments are not eligible.
- Applications must be submitted for future training opportunities; funding will not be provided to reimburse prior professional development activities. Activities must be completed within one year of the award.
- Staff are eligible to receive one scholarship every other academic year.
