USAJOBS - State Department Internship Requirements
- Be a US citizen.
- Be an undergraduate junior/senior or graduate student.
- Have at least a 3.2 GPA.
- Have completed at least 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours by the time the internship begins for junior-level eligibility.
- Be enrolled in a college or university of any type that offers a degree program.
- Immediately return to school after internship.
- Submit an official and/or unofficial transcript.
- Be able to acquire the necessary security clearance.
