The Community Road Safety Grants Program provides funding to empower local communities to prevent serious injuries and reduce the number of lives lost on Victoria’s roads.
Cyclist Programs: Bike Ed Challenges up to $6,000; bike and trailer maintenance $65 per bike, $1,000 per trailer
Safe Routes to School Projects: Up to $24,000 per applicant
Motorized Mobility Device & Walk with Care Sessions: $250 per session
Driver Programs: Road Safety for New Arrivals up to $5,000 + driving lessons; Safe Driver sessions $250 per session
Roadside Signage Initiatives: Up to $10,000 per applicant
Local Road Safety Innovation: Up to $20,000 per project category
To be funded under our community road safety grant program, you must represent an organisation that is:
If your organisation does not meet the above criteria, you must nominate an eligible auspice organisation to apply for a grant. Auspice organisations must meet the above criteria and can include LGAs.
