About Villgro Africa - MORE HEALTH for Africa Program (MH4A) - Cohort 3
The MORE HEALTH for Africa Program, a partnership between Boehringer Ingelheim and Villgro Africa, is looking for its third cohort!
This initiative supports social entrepreneurs driving healthcare innovation across Africa, with the goal of advancing Boehringer Ingelheim’s sustainability commitment to improve the lives of 50 million people through social engagement models by 2030.
Through incubation, acceleration, and catalytic funding, the program empowers high-impact social enterprises to scale their solutions and deliver sustainable healthcare to underserved communities.

Selected enterprises will receive:
- Catalytic Funding: Grants of up to 80K Euros.
- Tailored Support: Strengthening business models and introducing enterprises to relevant partners.
- Investor Linkages: Opportunities to connect with potential investors.
- Capacity Building: Masterclasses, diagnostic panels, and research support.
- Global Exposure: A showcase at the annual Making More Health Together (MMHT) convention in Germany and one event on the African continent.
- Peer Learning: Connections with founders from current and previous cohorts in the Villgro Africa portfolio.
Villgro Africa - MORE HEALTH for Africa Program (MH4A) - Cohort 3 Requirements
- They’re seeking ambitious, post-revenue social enterprises operating in Africa that are committed to scaling healthcare access and impact. Eligible companies should have strong revenue traction (annual revenues of $300k), demonstrated impact (a reach of 100k people), a dedicated team, and a clear growth strategy to raise USD 1M+ in the next year.
