Backed by FireSmart™ Canada and the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction, lending expert credibility.
Requires a Letter of Support from local fire authorities, encouraging collaboration and community buy-in.
Capacity Building
Encourages applicants to develop detailed budgets and project plans, strengthening organizational planning skills.
Promotes alignment with FireSmart’s seven disciplines, helping communities adopt best practices in wildfire prevention.
