About WACSI Match Funding For CSos in Ghana
The Match Fund is designed to support organisations in their resource mobilisation efforts, enabling them to respond to community challenges in ways that are effective, sustainable, and timely. Selected organisations will receive match funding of up to 50% of the amount they have raised locally.
Benefits of WACSI Match Funding For CSos in Ghana
- The total match funding allocated to any single organisation will not exceed USD 5,000.
WACSI Match Funding For CSos in Ghana Requirements
- The organisation is legally and locally registered in Ghana with the relevant authorities.
- The organisation demonstrates sound governance and accountable leadership.
- The organisation has an up-to-date local fundraising plan or strategy.
- The organisation has raised at least 50% of the project funds from its local constituency. (Local is defined as your scope of influence.)
- The funds raised by the organisation, combined with the match funding allocation, should be sufficient to cover the total project costs.
- Organisations that have participated in any of WACSI's trainings under the Change the Game Academy Programme are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Organisations that have previously benefited from the Match Fund are eligible to apply.
