About Wiki Loves Earth Photography Contest

Wiki Loves Earth is an international photo contest dedicated to documenting natural heritage and biodiversity through freely licensed images. Each year, people from different countries participate by sharing photographs that help illustrate articles on Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects.

In Chile, the contest is organized by Wikimedia Chile and seeks to encourage the visual documentation of landscapes, flora, fauna, protected areas and ecosystems of the country, especially during the winter season.

• The winning images will be recognized in the national stage and some will be able to represent Chile in the international stage of Wiki Loves Earth.

• Anyone can participate, except those who are part of the competition jury. It is not necessary to have professional experience in photography.
