About FW Women's Career Grant Program

The Women’s Career Grant supports women in Queensland who are ready to re-enter the workforce after a break. The Women’s Career Grant provides up to $4,999 to women to help meet the costs associated with the transition back into the workforce. The Women’s Career Grant is administered by Future Women in partnership with the Queensland Government.

Benefits of FW Women's Career Grant Program

• Successful applicants will be able to receive up to $4,999

• Future Women will process applications, and the Queensland Government will pay eligible applicants directly

• $5 million in funding is available from 3 November 2025 to 30 June 2026, unless funds are awarded earlier. A further $5 million will be available between 1 July 2026 and 30 June 2027

FW Women's Career Grant Program Requirements

To be eligible for funding, applicants must:

• Be a woman aged 18 years or older
• Be a resident of Queensland
• Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits
• Be unemployed for six months or more and ready to re-enter the workforce.
• Provide all required evidence requirements as outlined here
• Not have received funding from this program previously.
