About WIPO Creative Economy Data Program Fellowship in Switzerland
The fellowship is located in the Creative Economy Data Program, in the Office of the Deputy Director General of the Copyright, Creative Economy and IP Governance Sector. The program aims to improve how data on the creative economy – and the intangible assets created therein- are collected, analyzed and used for policymaking. It assesses how value chains and business models of the creative economy are affected by new technologies such as, but not limited to, artificial intelligence (AI), broadband and mobile access, streaming and digital platforms, and content provenance tools, including their effects on how creative works are produced, distributed, monetized and measured. With this, the Program supports Member States in building national capacity to measure the economic, social and cultural impact of the creative industries, and to use these measures for development purposes.
