About Yale University World Fellows Program Scholarship
The Yale World Fellows Program Scholarship 2027 offers a fully funded leadership development fellowship for mid-career professionals from around the world. Each year, 20 rising global leaders are selected to spend four months in residence at Yale University, where they sharpen their leadership skills, expand their networks, and contribute to the university community. The program aims to cultivate a network of committed and connected leaders who are making a positive impact on the world.

Yale University World Fellows Program Scholarship Requirements
- Be 5–25 years into their professional careers
- Have a record of significant achievement and integrity
- Show commitment to positive impact at local, national, or international levels
- Demonstrate future leadership promise and global impact potential
- Possess critical, creative, entrepreneurial, and strategic thinking capacity
- Be fluent in English
- Be citizens of countries other than the United States (dual citizens including U.S. are eligible)
- Be willing to live in residence at Yale for the full program duration
Application Date and Process
- Submit a nomination via the official Yale World Fellows nomination page (self-nomination not allowed).
- If invited, prepare a résumé/CV (max 3 pages), a personal statement (max 600 words), three letters of recommendation, and a brief video statement.
- Applications open in June 2026 and close on 4 September 2026.
- Selection announced in October 2026.
