Opportunity Details
From October 7-9, 2025, the Government of Spain will host the 2025 Open Government Partnership (OGP) Global Summit in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. The Summit will bring together more than 2,000 high-level representatives of governments, civil society leaders, and policy-makers from around the world to exchange experiences, best practices, and progress on open government initiatives and implementation on key issues.
This conference provides a unique opportunity for youth organisations to engage with experts, policymakers, and civil society leaders to discuss and promote open governance, transparency and accountability in the region.

Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Attend the event with a full coverage of the cost of travel and attendance.
- Share their experiences and projects with a regional and international audience.
- Learn from and collaborate with experts in governance, human rights, and youth engagement.
- Build networks with other young leaders and organisations.
- Gain insights and tools to strengthen their impact in their communities and organisations.
Participation in the OGP Global Summit Requirements
They encourage applications from young individuals aged 18 to 30 year-old who:
- Are part of a YDC member organisation (If you are not already a member of the YDC, you CANNOT apply! New membership applications will NOT be considered.)
- Are passionate about promoting youth participation and empowerment
- Have experience or a strong interest in promoting open governance and civic participation
- Experience with the OGP process would be appreciated or the ability to demonstrate understanding of the process
