About AIIDEV Africa SDGs Campus Ambassador Programme Cohort 5

This 10-week leadership programme is designed to empower students from Africa’s tertiary institutions to become strategic advocates for the United Nations SDGs. The programme provides participants with the necessary tools, networks, and frameworks to drive sustainable development within their institutions and communities.

AIIDEV Africa SDGs Campus Ambassador Programme Cohort 5 Requirements

  • Prospective candidates for the 2026 Cohort 5 must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Enrolment Status: Currently registered in an accredited tertiary institution (university, college, or polytechnic).  
  • Age Range: Between 16 and 25 years of age.  
  • Language Proficiency: Demonstrated command of the English language, as all programme content, communications, and deliverables will be conducted exclusively in English.
  • Academic Background: Open to all disciplines; interdisciplinary representation is encouraged to enrich programme discourse.  
  • Geographic Scope: Applicants from all African nations are eligible, with deliberate inclusion of urban and rural demographics to ensure representative diversity.  
  • Commitment & Disposition: Evidence of genuine interest in sustainable development, willingness to assume leadership responsibilities, and capacity to engage actively throughout the programme duration.
