Opportunity Details
The Asian Community Trust (ACT) aims to build a “Bridge of Mutual Help and Resource Sharing” in civil societies across Asia. To pursue this aim, ACT assists projects developed by local people’s groups, NGOs and other civil society organizations with the purpose of improving people’s quality of life in their own communities and sharing their successes with others.
Grants: Up to 1,000,000 JPY per project per year.
Duration: 1–3 years, with possible extensions.
Disbursement: Two installments — June 2026 and December 2026
Applicants must be legally recognized or registered with a public entity.
Must show transparency and capacity for monitoring/reporting.
Individuals without legal status or organizations lacking accountability are ineligible.
Prepare a proposal with objectives, budget, timeline, and outcomes.
Show alignment with ACT priorities and sustainability plans.
Submit via email to the Tokyo ACT Office by the deadline.
Evaluation by ACT’s Executive Advisory Committee.
Reports required: Interim (Oct 31, 2026) and Final (May 31, 2027).
