About BI Presidential Master’s Scholarship in Norway
The BI Presidential Scholarship in Norway accepts applications annually for the upcoming academic year. The Norwegian Business School provides a fellowship for international students pursuing a master’s program at one of the top European universities.
Benefits of BI Presidential Master’s Scholarship in Norway
- For the duration of the two-year master’s degree program, the scholarship will cover all tuition costs for Norwegian students.
- A stipend of up to NOK 50,000 per semester, covering living expenses for up to two years, will be provided to international students.
- Norwegian & International residents in Norway will benefit from full tuition, up to 2 years (with academic progress).
- Sivøk applicants will benefit from the full tuition for up to 2 years (with academic progress).
BI Presidential Master’s Scholarship in Norway Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Enroll In Courses
- Applicants must have achieved top grades, with an overall GPA of A on the ECTS scale or equivalent.
- 3rd-year Sivøk students can apply.
- The application is open to both Norwegian and international students.
- International students with a bachelor’s degree from Norway count as residents.
- Applicants must be admitted to the first year of a Master of Science program at the University of Oslo or the University of Bergen (except for the BI-Luiss Joint Master’s in Marketing).
- Application is open only to for students applying for their first master’s degree.
- To keep the scholarship:
- Complete 30 ECTS each semester.
- Maintain at least a B average GPA.
- Scholarship holders must serve as BI Ambassadors (help promote BI, support recruitment, and student life).
Application Date and Process
- Apply for the scholarship together with your admission via the online portal (not by email, except for 3rd-year Sivøk).
- Upload one PDF with CV and a one-page scholarship letter (state why you should be considered).
- Upload under the ‘Scholarship’ section of your admission application.
- Submit a complete MSc admission application; the scholarship is valid only if admission is accepted.
- 3rd-year Sivøk students: Please send your CV and scholarship letter by email to [email protected] (subject: BI Presidential Scholarship Application).
- International applicants: Applying for the BI Presidential Scholarship automatically includes consideration for the MSc International Scholarship.
