For the Give500 2026 Grant Program:

  • Winning organisation receives: $17,000
  • Each runner-up organisation receives: $4,000

Border Trust: Community Foundation Albury Wodonga Region - Give500 Grant Program Requirements

The Give500 Grant Program is open to:

  • Not-for-profit community-based organisations
  • Organisations operating for charitable purposes
  • Community groups delivering projects that benefit the Border Region

Eligible organisations must operate within the following Local Government Areas:

  • Albury
  • Federation
  • Greater Hume
  • Indigo
  • Towong
  • Wodonga

Organisation Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Have a registered Australian Business Number (ABN) or Incorporated Association Number
  • Operate for charitable or community benefit purposes
  • Deliver projects benefiting communities within the Border Region
  • Meet any additional programme eligibility requirements

Organisations may apply whether or not they have:

  • Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR Item 1) status

However, registration with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) is strongly preferred.
