The Asian University for Women’s Masters of Arts in Education is a two years comprehensive and interdisciplinary program that aims to create a group of educational leaders, instructors, experts, and policymakers dedicated to bringing positive change through education. This program is central to AUW’s Women Teaching Women, Women Learning from Women (WTW-WLW) initiative, dedicated to giving students abalanced set of theoretical and analytical skills that they can apply to the many communities around the world that are affected by educational inequity. In this hybrid learning model, renowned Professors from our partner universities, Johns Hopkins University, Boston College, and California State University offer classes joining via Zoom, along with on-the-ground Teaching Fellows who facilitate discussions.
Students engage in a comprehensive curriculum employing theoretical models, empirical data, and analytical tools to
examine problems within the domain of education. The degree is conferred upon students who have demonstrated expertise in education scholarship through research, internships, and a thesis, preparing them for PhD programs at top universities and impactful roles in renowned organizations and international institutes advancing education and equality.
