The Enrico Fermi Fellowships aim to address the growing specializationthat separates theoretical from experimental training, particularly in physics, making it rare to find scientists with a deep understanding of both areas. Inspired by Enrico Fermi, who excelled in both theoretical and experimental domains, the fellowships target top-level graduate studentsinterested in fundamental scientificquestions and eager to work on boththeoretical and experimental aspects.
The project seeks to offer students generous financial support to broaden their horizons through theory and experiments cross-training.
The EFF is open to top students globally, promoting a broad and diverse participation.
The EFF is a five-year projectcomprising at least three cohorts of students.
