About Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation - Core Funding for Environmental Organisations
The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Environmental Organizations Grant is a funding initiative that supports environmental non-profit organizations dedicated to protecting biodiversity and restoring ecosystems in Portugal.
Rather than funding a single project, the programme provides core funding to help eligible organizations strengthen their operational capacity, improve organizational sustainability, and expand the impact of their environmental work.
The initiative is designed to build stronger environmental organizations capable of delivering long-term conservation outcomes across Portugal.
Benefits of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation - Core Funding for Environmental Organisations
The programme provides:
- Core funding of up to €50,000 per organization.
Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation - Core Funding for Environmental Organisations Requirements
- Open to organisations officially recognised as environmental organisations under the National Register, or equivalent organisations, as well as organisations working in the field of nature conservation whose activities align with the objectives of this call and which meet the eligibility criteria set out in the Call Conditions.
