About Commercialisation Bridge Grant Program

The Commercialisation Bridge Grant 2025, administered by the Western Australian Department of Energy and Economic Diversification under the New Industries and Innovation Fund, supports startups and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Western Australia by providing financial assistance to bridge the funding gap between early-stage commercialisation and breakthrough growth, aiming to accelerate innovation, create jobs, and diversify the State’s economy.

Benefits of Commercialisation Bridge Grant Program

• Matching grants of between $50,000 and $250,000.

Commercialisation Bridge Grant Program Requirements

To be eligible, businesses must:

• be registered in WA
• have a current Australian business number (ABN) and/or Australian company number (ACN)
• have a trading history of 6 months or more, and has not previously raised significant capital
• continue to be based in WA for the next 3 years
• be a WA-based startup or small business employing between 1 and 50 people
• be solvent.
