About Community Broadcasting Foundation - Stolen Generations Truth Telling Grants

The Stolen Generations Truth Telling Grants support First Nations Australian media organisations and content makers to create culturally sensitive stories that document survivor and descendant experiences of the Stolen Generations. The funding supports podcasts, radio programs, documentaries, videos, animation, and other community broadcasting projects that promote truth-telling and education.

Community Broadcasting Foundation - Stolen Generations Truth Telling Grants Requirements

The grants are available to First Nations Australian community media organisations and First Nations Australian content makers creating stories for recognised community broadcasting platforms.

Eligible applicants include:

• First Nations Australian community media organisations.
• Licensed community broadcasting organisations with a First Nations Australian community of interest.
• Remote Indigenous Media Organisations (RIMOs).
• Indigenous Community Television organisations.
• First Nations content makers producing stories under an auspice agreement with a recognised community media organisation.

Organisation Eligibility Requirements

Eligible organisations must:

• Have a connection to First Nations Australian communities.
• Produce content for community broadcasting platforms.
• Demonstrate capacity to deliver the proposed project.
• Follow appropriate cultural protocols.
