About EAERE Visiting Programme Scholarship

In 2024 EAERE launched its Visiting Programme. This programme aims to provide financial assistance of a gross EUR 3,000 for a visiting period ranging from a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of one year at a university or research institute abroad.

Benefits of EAERE Visiting Programme Scholarship

• Financial assistance of a gross EUR 3,000 for a visiting period ranging from a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of one year at a university or research institute abroad.
• The first instalment will be paid in the month preceding the start of the visit.
• The second instalment will be paid upon submission and approval of a brief mid-term progress report, co-signed by the supervising tutor, within one month of approval.
• The third instalment will be paid within one month of submission and approval of a final brief report, co-signed by the supervising tutor.

EAERE Visiting Programme Scholarship Requirements

• Eligible candidates must be members of EAERE at the time of the application and during the visiting period.

• Must be either PhD students or postdoctoral researchers who have completed their doctoral degree within the past two years.

• Curriculum Vitae (CV).

• A two-page description of their research programme during the visiting period.

• A letter of acceptance from the host university or research institute, including the name of the supervising tutor and the proposed duration of the visiting period, which must commence in 2027.

Application Date and Process

• Applications must be submitted by October 31, 2026.

• Provide required documents: CV, two-page research programme description, and a letter of acceptance from the host including supervising tutor and proposed duration.
