About ESA Internship
European Space Agency Internship 2027 provides funded 3–6 month internship placements at European Space Agency facilities across technical and non-technical areas. The ESA Internship targets students, ideally in the final or second-to-last year of a master’s-level university education, for opportunities starting as early as February 2027.
The program is hosted by the European Space Agency (ESA), offering placements in engineering, software, space and Earth observation sciences, law, finance, communications, HR and more. ESA posts internship opportunities annually (typically in November) and recommends preparing a CV, motivation letter and academic details before the call.

ESA Internship Requirements
- You must be a student, preferably in your final or second-to-last year of a university course at the master’s level.
- You must have student status and be enrolled at university for the entire duration of the internship.

- You must be a citizen of one of the ESA Member States, Associate Members, European Cooperating States, or Canada as a Cooperating State.
