About Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Tanzania Young Leaders Forum
The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Young Leaders Forum is designed to nurture the next generation of socially conscious leaders in Tanzania. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical engagement, the program builds competencies in democratic governance, political economy analysis, communication and advocacy, design thinking and innovation, social justice and gender equality, labor, economy, and social democracy, urbanization and global economic issues, and just transition strategies. The program emphasizes value-driven leadership and equips participants with tools to create tangible societal impact.

Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Tanzania Young Leaders Forum Requirements
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age 21–35 years, Tanzanian citizenship (Mainland or Zanzibar), residency in the country for the program’s duration,
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or current students pursuing first degree, and active engagement in social or political initiatives through civil society organizations, political parties, trade unions, or community initiatives.
