The Friends of Moldova 2026 Project Grant Programme invites applications for small grants that support community-driven initiatives across Moldova.The programme is designed to empower local actors to address pressing community needs through practical, inclusive, and sustainable solutions, with a strong focus on youth engagement and local impact.
Individual and Group Eligibility
Eligible applicants include:
Moldovan citizens, with encouragement for youth and young adults to apply
Initiative groups, startups, small businesses, and social entrepreneurship ventures in Moldova
Initiative groups and startups must partner with a registered Moldovan entity to receive and manage grant funds.
Organisational Eligibility
The following entities are also eligible:
Registered non-profit NGOs operating in Moldova
Moldovan public institutions, including mayor’s offices, schools, libraries, local public authorities, and prisons
Peace Corps Volunteers applying through the Peace Corps Partnership Program
European Volunteer Services and other international volunteering groups working in Moldova
