About GWI Scholars Program Scholarship
The GWI Scholars Program offers tuition-free education and training for first-year and sophomore undergraduates aiming to launch careers in investment management. The program combines technical coursework in Excel, accounting, financial statement analysis, and financial modeling with career development and mentorship. All admitted Scholars follow a unified curriculum before being placed into either the Summer Intensive Program (SIP) or Online Intensive Program (OIP). Girls Who Invest (GWI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the number of women in portfolio management and executive leadership in the asset management industry. Established to advance gender equity in finance, GWI partners with leading investment firms, academic institutions, and industry groups to provide high‑quality education, paid internship opportunities, and lifelong professional development. Since its founding, GWI has built a supportive community of thousands of alumni and continues to expand access to careers in investment management.

GWI Scholars Program Scholarship Requirements
- Open to all majors—no finance experience necessary.
- Undergraduate first-year and sophomore standing at time of application.
- Second-year students at two-year U.S. colleges are eligible.
- Must be currently enrolled at a U.S. or U.S.-style post‑secondary institution.
- Must have earned a high school diploma (or equivalent).
