About Institut français - Connect & Create Relay Scholarship
Connect & Create Relay is a professional development programme for early-career communications professionals. Connect & Create Relay offers hands-on work with Creative Tandem projects, practical training, individual mentoring, a training certificate, peer networking and an allowance for communication activities for selected participants across Sub-Saharan Africa.
The programme is linked to the Connect & Create / Creative Tandem initiative and is promoted on InterArts Funding. Participants work directly with Creative Tandem projects in their country and gain professional development through training, mentoring and practical experience.

Institut français - Connect & Create Relay Scholarship Requirements
- Journalists
- Communications professionals
- Content creators
- Influencers and media hosts or presenters
- Applicants must have 2–5 years of professional experience in communications, journalism, media, or content creation
- Interest in performing arts, music, and the wider cultural and creative industries
- An active audience and a demonstrated local presence through social media, media platforms, community networks, or similar channels
- Applicants must live in one of the following countries: South Africa, Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Uganda, Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, or Senegal
