Benefits of Italy 20 Bachelor and Master Scholarships at University of Insubria

Each Scholarship amount is Euro 5000 per year, which will be paid in 4 installments of 2500. if a student applies to a three-year bachelor degree, he/she can apply to regional grant/scholarship for his/her third year of study.

Recipients must pass at least 40 ECTS credits by September 30th of each year. Scholarships cannot be combined with other grants. Students are responsible for reporting any incompatibilities. The scholarship does not cover travel, insurance, accommodation, or other expenses.

Italy 20 Bachelor and Master Scholarships at University of Insubria Requirments

To apply for the Insubria University scholarship, you must:
1) Be an international student.
2) Enroll in a Bachelor or Master program at the University of Insubria for the 2024/25 academic year.
3) (For undergraduates) Achieve a final qualification grade of at least 75% in your home country.
4) (For high school seniors) Prove you’re in the top 25% of your class with an official document from your school.
5) Be able to meet visa requirements for studying in Italy (if needed).
6) Have a basic understanding of Italian (B1 level) if you’re joining an Italian-taught course.

A special committee appointed by the Rector will assess applicants based on their academic record, CV, motivation letter, and possibly an interview for top candidates. The committee will assign up to 30 points as follows:
– Academic Records: maximum 20 points
– CV (work, research, or study experience): maximum 5 points
– Motivation letter: maximum 5 points
Applicants scoring below 21/30 are ineligible.

If necessary, the selected applicants will invited to attend an interview.

To apply to Scholarships at the University of Insubria, you need to submit the following documents:

  • – Your high school or bachelor’s degree diploma (or a school statement for a specific case)
  • – Transcript of your academic records
  • – CV detailing your work experience
  • – Preferred degree course
  • – Motivation letter

While not mandatory, getting a Cimea Statement of Comparability will help with the assessment. All documents must be in Italian, English, French, Spanish, or Portuguese and uploaded via the iSTUD portal. Failure to meet these conditions means you won’t be considered for the scholarship.
