About MEXT Undergraduate Scholarship Program Lebanon
The MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) Undergraduate Scholarship is a fully supported study programme offered by the Government of Japan.It enables eligible Lebanese students to pursue undergraduate degrees at Japanese universities in a wide range of academic fields.
Benefits of MEXT Undergraduate Scholarship Program Lebanon
Selected students receive financial and academic support, including:
- Monthly allowance: 117,000 yen
- Additional regional allowance: 2,000–3,000 yen (in designated areas)
- Payments may vary based on Japan’s annual budget
MEXT Undergraduate Scholarship Program Lebanon Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be Lebanese nationals (or from a country with diplomatic relations with Japan)
- Be under 24 years of age
- Be born on or after April 2, 2002
- Have completed or be expected to complete 12 years of schooling by March 2027
- Be physically and mentally fit (medical certificate required)
- Not hold Japanese nationality (except specific dual nationality cases)
