Nederlands Filmfonds is currently accepting applications for its Impulse Contribution to Success. Interested applicants are encouraged to click here to learn more about this opportunity and apply for it.
The Impulse Contribution for Success Grant is offered by the Dutch Film Fund to recognize creators who have demonstrated exceptional artistic achievement or strong audience impact with a previous production supported by the Fund. The programme aims to provide financial flexibility for the independent development of new projects, encouraging continued innovation and artistic excellence within the Dutch film industry.
The Impulse Contribution is available for various film categories:
Feature films, long documentaries, and animated films: €20,000 per eligible role (scenario writer, director, or main producer).
Short films, research, experiment, immersive, interactive, or experimental projects: €10,000 per eligible role.
Eligible applicants include creators who have:
Held the role of screenwriter, director, or main producer on a previous production supported by the Dutch Film Fund.
Achieved notable artistic or audience success with that project.
Not previously requested an Impulse Contribution for the same project and role.
Only one application per project, per role, per individual is permitted. If an individual holds multiple roles (e.g., director and screenwriter), separate applications are required for each role, but each is capped at one grant.
Applications must be submitted individually by the creator in the qualifying role. Applicants should provide evidence of prior artistic or audience success and outline plans for the new project development, highlighting how the contribution will support independent creative growth.
