About NGFP Young Voices Award

Opportunity Details

The main goal of this award is to highlight young voices with creative projects and suggestions for bettering the world. Young people have enormous capacity to change the world, according to NGFP.

In addition to rewarding the first-place winner with a USD 1000 cash prize and the other three with USD 500 prizes, SOIF will also recognize the ideas and efforts of the six top finalists. The Young Voices Awards are designed to assist young people in realizing their future-focused projects and bringing their ideas to life.

SOIF welcomes individuals who are interested in how the world is changing and those who are desirable in translating creative ideas about the future into action and making a difference in their community. Youths who are willing to become ambassadors for a more sustainable future are most welcome to apply.

Benefits of NGFP Young Voices Award

  • The first-place winner will get a $1000 USD reward to assist bring their idea to life and develop their project with an eye toward the future.
  • A prize of $500 USD will be given to three more people.
  • The top six finalists will get acknowledgement and honorable mention.
  • For every Sustainable Development Goal set forth by the UN, seventeen will be honored.

NGFP Young Voices Award Requirments

Following are set of the eligibility criteria that each applicant should meet before applying to the NGFP Young Voices Award:

  • Projects from individuals, partners, and youth groups between the ages of 12 and 17 are welcome to submit to SOIF.
  • Candidates that meet the requirements may only submit one entry for the NGFP Young Voices Awards.
  • Participants may apply as a team of five or individually.
  • Entry cannot be submitted by third parties.
  • Respond to every question on the application.

Required Materials

Individuals or teams of five people who apply for the NGFP Young Voices Award should submit the following supporting documents for their application:

  • Write a 400 word or less essay explaining how a planned or ongoing project will take into account people’s well-being and the planet’s future. Essays should be submitted by applicants in their original tongue with an English translation.
  • Every applicant needs to make a fresh, unique video. A two-minute, thirty-second video, in the applicant’s original language with English subtitles, describing the applicant’s plans for the Young Voices prize may be submitted. Old videos or news clippings are not appropriate.
  • Applicants must to specify how their initiative would advance particular Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
