About Novo Nordisk Foundation Award for Health Science Teachers in Denmark
The Novo Nordisk Foundation Health Science Teaching Prize at the University is an annual recognition program for university educators working in health science education.
The prize focuses on teams of two or three educators who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to teaching and qualifying health science university students.
Benefits of Novo Nordisk Foundation Award for Health Science Teachers in Denmark
- The Novo Nordisk Foundation Prize for Health Sciences Teachers at the University is awarded annually. The prize sum of DKK 1,500,000 consists of a personal award of DKK 25,000 to each teacher and the rest to the university as an educational grant.
Novo Nordisk Foundation Award for Health Science Teachers in Denmark Requirements
The prize is intended for engaged and skilled educators teaching health science subjects within health science programs in the Danish Realm.
Eligible candidates must generally meet the following requirements:
- Be permanently employed at lecturer level or higher; or
- Hold an assistant professor position on a tenure track.
- Teach health science subjects.
- Teach within health science programs.
- Work at a university in the eligible parts of the Danish Realm, including Denmark and Greenland.
- Be nominated as part of a team of two or three educators.
The award specifically recognizes teams rather than individual educators.
