About Softchoice - Charity Accelerator Program
The Softchoice Charity Accelerator Program is a pro bono engagement where we support a technology project at your organization – and allow you to focus your time on advancing your charitable mission.
This program is open to small charities (generally, less than $4M in revenue and fewer than 20 employees) in Canada and the US who are addressing inequality, advancing diversity and inclusion, or building inclusive and engaged communities.
Benefits of Softchoice - Charity Accelerator Program
- Through the Charity Accelerator Program, charities can apply to have a dedicated team of Softchoice volunteers provide up to 100 hours of technology services support and up to $10,000 of in-kind product or services.
Softchoice - Charity Accelerator Program Requirements
To be eligible, your charity must meet the following criteria:
- Charitable mission is focused on advancing diversity and inclusion, responding to inequality, and/or building inclusive and engaged communities
- Charitable registration status/designation in Canada or the United States (in Canada registered with the CRA or in the US, a 501(c)(3) organization that is a public Charity)
- In operation for a minimum of 4 years
- Governance structure with at least 3 Board members
- Generally, annual revenue is less than $4 million
- Generally, fewer than 20 full-time employees
- Must have full support of the Board and executive director/sponsor for the Project
- Willing to participate in a post-implementation survey/case study to demonstrate the impact the Project made on your organization
