About Swaniti Global - SPARC-AI Fellowship
The SPARC-AI Fellowship aims to bridge this digital divide by bringing practical AI knowledge and technology to underserved communities, particularly women involved in Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
The 12-month fellowship offers early-career professionals an opportunity to live and work in an assigned parliamentary constituency alongside a Member of Parliament (MP). Fellows will work directly with women in Self-Help Groups, helping them understand and adopt AI-powered tools to improve their businesses, strengthen income-generating activities and increase economic independence.
The programme combines AI training, grassroots engagement, field research and community capacity building. Its dual objective is to increase the effective use of AI among last-mile communities while preparing young professionals to become more capable and responsible users of emerging technologies.
The SPARC-AI Fellowship is designed for individuals who want to develop practical AI skills while contributing to inclusive economic development and digital empowerment.
