About The Bridge Leadership Foundation (TBLF) Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship

Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship (EPLF) is an initiative of The Bridge Leadership Foundation. ​A non-partisan program, EPLF nurtures and prepares young Nigerians for political leadership at the local, regional, and national levels with a view to improving the quality of Nigeria’s leadership pool and the impact of its developmental interventions. The program aims at tackling the deep-rooted leadership problems we have faced as a country by exposing Fellows to the critical knowledge required for them to play in Nigeria’s political arena and thrive while in it.

The Bridge Leadership Foundation (TBLF) Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship Requirements

  • Who are active in mainstream politics in Nigeria.
  • With a proven track record of service within a community, region and Nigeria.
  • With a demonstrable track record of accountability, integrity, strategy and resilience.
  • Aged between 25 and 35 (If you are within 36-45 years with a strong application, you can still apply.
  • Who meets all statutory requirements to run for office at all levels in Nigeria.
  • With no criminal record.
  • With no ongoing criminal case/investigation with any national or international security body (Such as Interpol, EFCC)

Application Date and Process

A complete application includes:

  • A completed online application form
  • An up-to-date CV (PDF only, maximum of 3 pages)
  • Longlisted applicants will submit a 3-5 minute video application.
