Opportunity Details
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Cambodia, via the GEF Small Grants Programme – Operational Phase 8 (SGP‑OP8), is seeking proposals from local NGOs, community-based organisations (CBOs), and Indigenous Peoples’ groups. The programme funds community-led initiatives aimed at promoting environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods, particularly in biodiversity hotspots and Indigenous Peoples’ areas.
Up to US$75,000 per project.
Co-financing required – applicants must match funding with material, financial, or in-kind contributions.
Selection is competitive, based on relevance, feasibility, sustainability, and alignment with SGP objectives.
Local NGOs registered in Cambodia.
Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) at village, commune, district, or provincial levels.
Indigenous Peoples’ groups engaged in conservation or sustainable livelihoods.
Applicants must show experience in community-driven environmental projects.
Prepare proposal using UNDP/SGP templates.
Submit proposal following guidelines.
Evaluation & selection based on impact and sustainability.
Grant agreement & implementation with UNDP support.
Monitoring & reporting to track outcomes.
