The Tony Elumelu Foundation, which celebrated ten years of impact in 2020, is empowering a new generation of African entrepreneurs, through the TEF Entrepreneurship Programme.
Selected applicants will receive:
Open to citizens and legal residents of all 54 African countries.
Applicants must be 18 years or older (no upper age limit).
Business must be registered and operate in Africa.
Eligible businesses: ideas or early-stage companies (0–3 years old).
Focus on innovative, transformative, for-profit ideas.
Programme encourages participation from French, Arabic, Portuguese speakers and female entrepreneurs.
Exclusions: research institutions, faith-based organisations, trading companies, government contractors, businesses outside Africa, or those harmful to environment/lives/property.
