UN DECADE Youth Task Force (YTF) Microgrants for Ecosystem Restoration 2026 is a funding opportunity designed to support youth-led organizations working on ecosystem restoration projects. The program is backed by UNEP and FAO and focuses on restoring environments like farmlands, forests, freshwater, grasslands, oceans, peatlands, and urban areas.
10 microgrants of up to USD $1,000 each.
80% of funds allocated to the Global South, 20% to the Global North.
Applicants must be registered organizations (proof required).
Projects must be led by individuals under 35 years old.
Must address at least one ecosystem category under the UN Decade.
Projects must be completed between February and July 2026.
Applicants must submit:
Online application form.
Implementation plan, project summary, objectives, methodology, expected outcomes.
Timeline and sustainability plan.
Detailed budget and project proposal.
Proof of registration (certificate).
