About UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media Bloomberg Journalism Programs
The Bloomberg Journalism Program has two aims: to introduce current and future journalism students to the dynamic field of business journalism and to increase diversity among journalists reporting on business. It will provide participants unparalleled access to a leading financial news organization, as well as to some of the most influential people in the industry.

UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media Bloomberg Journalism Programs Requirements
- University students who have a strong interest in pursuing a career in journalism and who are not currently studying business journalism.
- Rising juniors and seniors.
- Students from diverse backgrounds, perspectives and lived experiences are encouraged to apply.
- Full-time international students studying in the U.S. are welcome to apply, but permission from their institution is required in order to pay for travel cost and issue stipends. Permission is not always granted. If you are an international student please consult with your campus’ international student representative.
Application Date and Process
Students interested in the program should complete an online application. Finalists will be contacted for an interview via video conferencing after the application closing date.
