About UNIL SUR Programme
UNIL SUR Programme 2027 in Switzerland is an eight-week undergraduate summer research program offering hands-on laboratory experience in biology and medicine at the University of Lausanne, with research presentations, lectures, and career workshops.

UNIL SUR Programme Requirements
- Applicants must be studying biology, medicine, or a related field with a strong focus on biological sciences.
- Applicants must have completed two years of a bachelor’s degree and be enrolled in their third year during the programme.
- Students must have an excellent academic record, typically a GPA above 3.75 or a ranking in the top 5% of their class.
- Applicants must have good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Previous research experience is not required.
- Students studying physical therapy, nursing, dentistry, or veterinary science are not eligible.
- Applicants must be available for the entire programme, from 5 July to 27 August 2027.
- Selection is based on academic performance, personal statements, and recommendation letters.
