About University of Cambridge PhD Studentship in Cancer Biology in UK
Cambridge PhD studentship 2026 offers a fully-funded PhD to investigate mechanisms of resistance to KRAS inhibition across pancreatic cancer genetic profiles. The Cambridge PhD project combines in vivo models, organoids, CRISPR, single-cell RNA sequencing, spatial transcriptomics and other molecular techniques to define cell-intrinsic and cell-extrinsic resistance mechanisms.

- Willingness to work with mouse models throughout the PhD is essential.
- Prior experience in a laboratory or industry research environment is required.
- Experience with tissue culture, including cell lines and/or organoids, is viewed favourably.
- Experience with common laboratory techniques such as immunohistochemistry, western blotting and/or PCR is advantageous.
- Prior experience or knowledge of pancreatic cancer or cancer biology would be advantageous.
