About JYU Visiting Fellow Programme
The JYU Visiting Fellow Programme 2027 in Finland is a fully funded fellowship for outstanding international researchers. Hosted by the University of Jyväskylä (JYU), this program offers a 1-2 month research stay with a monthly grant, covering travel, living, and accommodation expenses. It aims to support high-quality research and foster global collaboration.

JYU Visiting Fellow Programme Requirements
- Open for all nationalities
- Researchers who have completed their PhD degree before the start of the visit
- Applicants’ current institutional affiliation must be outside Finland
- Demonstrate an excellent track record in conducting scientific research
- Excellent command of the English Language
- Must secure an invitation letter from the JYU host
- Commit to full-time in-person participation during programme dates
Application Date and Process
- Step 1: Secure a JYU host & get an invitation letter
- Step 2: Prepare the required documents: Curriculum Vitae, Invitation letter from the JYU host, Research Plan not exceeding 2 to 3 pages, List of Publications
- Step 3: After completing the above 2 steps, complete your online application via the JYU official portal. All applications must be submitted by August 14th, 2026.
