Opportunity Details
The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) Summer Student Fellowship program is a summer research fellowship for undergraduates entering their final year of study.The program is designed to give students hands-on experience in ocean sciences, oceanographic engineering, and marine policy.
Weekly stipend: $721.
Travel allowance: $720.
Housing provided by the institution.
Participation in seminars, lecture series, and workshops (e.g., Ethics in Science).
Networking within the Woods Hole scientific community.
Must be undergraduates (not yet graduated).
International students welcome (visa support required).
Preference for science/engineering majors with interest in ocean sciences.
Applicants from underrepresented groups in ocean sciences are encouraged.
Special rules for UK 3-year and 5-year programs.
