About World Youth Alliance Global Advocacy Academy
The Advocacy Academy (AA) examines pressing global issues central to our work, internationally and nationally. The Advocacy academy examines international law, research data and best practice in assessing policy issues such as reproductive rights and maternal health, family planning, HIV/AIDS, sustainable development and population control.

- Six sessions (around 12 hours) are available.
- After each live session, a Certified Advocacy Trainer will take live questions.

- Exclusive Alumni Community of the Advocacy Academy.
- Briefings on advocacy issues and online meetings.
- Opportunities for networking with other WYA officials.
- A chance to represent WYA in advocacy gatherings (such the General Assembly of the European Union, the Organization of American States, or United Nations Commissions).
- For the WYA Advocacy Internship Program, priority selection.
World Youth Alliance Global Advocacy Academy Requirements
- Anyone interested in becoming a champion for human dignity who has signed the WYA charter is eligible for the course.
- WYA’s Certified Training Program (CTP) is a helpful (but not necessary) Advocacy Academy pre-requisite.
- Internet connectivity is also required for participation.
- There is a 20 USD training fee (20€ for WYA Europe trainees) to participate in the Advocacy Academy.
