The Youthtown Trust Community Grants Program supports not-for-profit organisations that create positive outcomes for young people and communities across New Zealand.
The programme provides funding for projects and activities that encourage youth participation, develop skills, strengthen community connections, and improve access to sport, culture, recreation, and charitable services.
Funding is directed towards organisations that contribute to Youthtown Trust’s mission of helping young people increase their confidence, develop their potential, and achieve their goals.
The programme is open to eligible incorporated not-for-profit organisations in New Zealand.
Eligible applicants include:
Incorporated charitable organisations
Incorporated associations established for charitable purposes
Regional and community not-for-profit organisations located in areas where Youthtown gaming funds are generated
Amateur sports organisations that:
Are incorporated not-for-profit groups
Operate at regional or community level
Are affiliated with a recognised national sporting body
Incorporated national organisations that can demonstrate clear regional and community benefits
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
Be legally constituted organisations
Operate on a not-for-profit basis
Deliver charitable, community, youth, sporting, or cultural benefits
Demonstrate how funding will create positive community outcomes
Projects should align with Youthtown Trust’s authorised charitable purposes.
