About 2024 WIPO Academy Scholarship

The WIPO Academy Scholarship is an initiative of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in conjunction with several member states, particularly developing countries.

Fully funded Masters scholarships covering tuition, accommodation, living stipends, and flight costs are generously offered to citizens from these countries in a bid to help build human capacity in IP, which is essential to innovation and creativity.

2024 WIPO Academy Scholarship Requirements

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university 
• Transcript (minimum GPA: 2.25 / 4.00)
• Proof of English proficiency 
• Applicants from the countries where English is (one of) the official languages, are exempt from the language requirement
• Reference letter(s)
• Curriculum vitae
• Statement of purpose
